The real New York Times newsroom! One advantage of filming SHE SAID during the pandemic, is that this area could be available for the shoot. Set Decorator Philippa Culpepper SDSA reveals that people had just left their personal belongings and desks as if momentarily. They obviously expected to return quickly, which turned out to be a bonus for her team, as it gave them a direct look at the real-life newsroom detritus. Of course, all had to be photo documented and removed for the shoot, while every desk was re-dressed to details for each character and with accuracy to the time of the story, from papers to models of cell phones!
