In a Few Words...
Which talent would you most like to have?
I would like to have been athletic & one-track-minded enough to be a brilliant tennis player. As it is I'm pretty good, but it's not my only focus.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
On the personal side, bringing up my children to be healthy well-adjusted adults. It's not an easy thing while actively working infilm & I think I always felt I was compromising both home & my work. Now I hear my adult children speak of me and my work and I hear pride in their voices - pretty special! As for my work, it will be hard to top THE BFG. I saw it the other night & was so pleased with the way it looked
Which word or phrase do you most overuse?
"It's pretty good but does it come...ina brighter blue, slightly larger, in linen, in bronze tone?"
My co-worker says I say, "In my mind's eye" a lot.
What do you look for on the Craft Services table?
Information! I find working off-set I often don't get caught up on the latest rumor, and the craft service table is a good place to hear the latest theory & onset chatter.
Please name a benefit of being an SDSA member.
The benefits of being a SDSA member are many when you work along way from the hub. It keeps me in touch with the decorating world in Los Angeles and through it I have made some great contacts and some friends in the Set Dec community. I feel connected and a part of a community so much larger than our small one here. Even though I don't attend any of the functions I like to know what's going on and keep up on them.
The SDSA is great for bringing people together who share common professional experiences. Its great to know that you can get support and have laughs with others who know what you are going through!
