In a Few Words...

Which talent would you most like to have?
I suppose I’d most want to sing.  In the past year, here in London, I’ve seen so many wonderful musical performances on stage.  It’s been inspiring……..and I just bet it feels wonderful to belt those songs out!!

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
I’ve never really thought in terms of that.  I suppose that coming from a very small town in Ontario Canada, I never would have believed I would have and still have a career in the movies.  Its been over 30 yrs for me in our business... that’s somewhat of an achievement... perhaps my best.

Which word or phrase do you most overuse?
‘Fantastic’
From what my English crew tell me (and they are the ones I spend most my life with) I say this a lot.  Well, at least it’s a positive expression!

What do you look for on the Craft Services table?
Watermelon and berries……I love them particularly watermelon….mmmmm!

Please name a benefit of being an SDSA member.
Living and working in Canada, the SDSA was a great way for me to connect with other decorators working in the US.  It was nice to feel included.  Now I work mostly abroad but I still have a sense of community via the SDSA.  It’s wonderful having an organization that promotes and values what we all do.
