Established in 2010, ACME Brooklyn is a hub of creative activity for fashion, commercial, celebrity, and fine art clients, with a 4,000 square foot studio space with Cyc in Williamsburg, and a brand new, just-opened 7,200 square foot prop rental house in Bushwick.
Under the guidance of veteran set designer Shawn Patrick Anderson, ACME approaches prop rental from a designer's point of view, with unique specialty items and set elements you won't find anywhere else.
ACME's easy-to-use website PROPRENTAL.com includes photos, dimensions, and prices for each item, so coming to our space to shop isn't necessary (unless, of course, you'd like to).
ACME's collection includes items ranging from modern and contemporary to rustic and vintage, with one of the more rental extensive taxidermy collections in NYC. We also offer delivery and pickup service, so getting items and returning them is a breeze.
We're new SDSA members! Please stop by our 120,000 square foot design studio and warehouse. We are located north of the 10 freeway west of the 710 freeway.

In a Few Words...
Which talent would you most like to have? I am embarrassed to admit I wish I were better at self promotion, which is of course ironic as I hesitate to write this as an answer in a promotional context such as the SDSA SET DECORATOR SPOTLIGHT.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
I am from a very small town in northern Missouri. Quite recently, I was accepted into the Motion Picture Academy. My family and many in that little town where I grew up were very passionate about theatrical and musical productions and the experiences I had there inspired my curiosity about film and television production. The Academy membership is an honor I share in my heart with those in my home town who joined together to write and produce theatrical productions and music concerts.
Which word or phrase do you most overuse?
Are we good to go? Ok, let's do it.
People with the most to do get the most done.
Always have your wishlist ready.
What do you look for on the Craft Service table?
Something crunchy. Carrots and ranch or hummus. Water.
Please name a benefit of being an SDSA member?
Being a member of the SDSA provides a feeling of comradery and a sense of professional unity. I am very proud to be a member of this group.
