Bridge Furniture & Props
January 16, 2020
It was a New Year's celebration and Bridge Props was dressed to the nines!

Bridge Props Matt Hennessy and JoAnn Vara welcomed everyone and kicked-off
2020 with delicious passed delights and theme crafted cocktails.

The new Board of Directors was presented and sworn in by attorney Donna Wells.
Outgoing President Kimberly Wannop handed the meeting over to your new
SDSA President, Laura Richarz.

New members were introduced, prizes won and an impressive list of Set Decorators
and their work was acknowledged with a recap of contenders in this Awards Season.
Ken Sharp thanked everyone for their support as Modern Props closes its doors.
Phillip Sokoloski from Film LA gave us an update on industry activity and
their upcoming campaign, LA Loves Film.

Happy New Year!

Thank you to everyone at Bridge Furniture & Props,
and to
the SDSA Business Members who contributed to this event;

In a Few Words...

Which talent would you most like to have?
I wish I could sing and play multiple musical instruments…never too late right?

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
With out a doubt, my two children Ava & Aidan are my greatest achievement. As far as set decorating…I am just scratching the surface.

Which word or phrase do you most overuse?
One for sure is…Right?
And…the other one might be f@#k

What do you look for on the Craft Services table?
Sadly…everything…

Please name a benefit of being an SDSA member.
I have so enjoyed being a part of SDSA…I have found it to be such a great way to network with other decorators, who I otherwise would never get a chance to. There are so many people who have been supportive, welcoming and informative.

I love being a part of an organization that represents its members' talents in such a positive way.
