Which talent would you most like to have?
I always wanted to be a part of a circus troop and perform death-
defying tricks, although being a set decorator
has always felt a little like that anyhow.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Apart from my two amazing daughters,
I think my greatest achievement has been reviving a huge
community of artists and craftspeople who came together to
furnish middle earth in amazing detail for THE HOBBIT.
Which word or phrase do you most overuse?
Choice! (A very out dated Kiwi colloquial term meaning "That's ace!")
What do you look for on the Craft Services table? Entertaining conversation

It's so great to be a part of a community of like-minded creatives. It feels like the sharing of ideas helps create new ones,
this makes the art of Set Decoration a rich and enjoyable part of the film making process.

Which talent would you most like to have? I would love to be able to sing and be a blues singer.
What do you consider your greatest achievement? My greatest achievement is that I became a set decorator in the
first place and to have been fortunate to work as long as I have.
Which word or phrase do you most overuse? "A little lower, center it, a little to the right, to the left, yea, that
looks good." And also, "It'll be the best set ever."
What do you look for on the Craft Services table? Anything that's fresh
Please name a benefit of being an SDSA member. I have made some lifelong friends by being involved in the SDSA. Also, it is always great to see familiar faces when I'm in the prop houses, which makes me feel part of a community.
