The Warner Bros. Property Department is excited to be hosting the Fall session of the SDSA Day with the Set Decorator November 2. Created for those students and interior designers who aspire to be set decorators, this is one of the best opportunities to see what it takes to bring a set to life!
You will get to ask questions directly to the entertainment industry professionals who make it happen. You will get a better understanding of a set's role in the overall storytelling.
At the November 2nd event, guests will tour the historic Warner Bros. Property department and Drapery & Upholstery departments with industry docents. Attendees will then visit the sets of television drama ALL AMERICAN with Set Decorator Adrianna Lopez SDSA, television comedies BOB ❤ ABISHOLA with Emmy winning Set Decorator Ann Shea SDSA and YOUNG SHELDON with Emmy winning Set Decorator Richard C. Walker SDSA.
The day culminates with the most important panel Q&A from all types of art department professionals and will include a light lunch. The panels are always a great mix of set decorators, leadmen, buyers, set dressers, propmasters and art department talent. All have different processes, favorite experiences and stories as to how they made set decorating their career choice.
Please note: This event is only open to students with an entertainment or design curriculum.
Sign-in starts at 8:30 AM, Fee is $55 and is non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by the Set Decorators Society of America. No exceptions.
After enrollment, you will receive instructions for the event via email on Friday, November 1st, 2019 by 6 PM, not prior. Please bring a government issued photo I.D. for Warner Bros. Studios lot access. Not providing I.D. is not grounds for a refund. So, please be prepared.
